Admittedly, we probably haven’t given GoDaddy a fair chance, but in comparison to other hosts like SiteGround their feature list is much more limited, especially in the absence of cPanel making it tough for a novice to move their website away should you wish to do so. Yes, we do have an account with them, but it has largely remained unused over the last year. When it comes to GoDaddy, despite being one of the biggest web hosting companies around, we have never really clicked with them. You can see a screenshot of the new control panel below: GoDaddy cPanel hosting interface. GoDaddy has fully integrated cPanel into their own administration area. Not only that, but cPanel is very easy to use and has an excellent set of features. For us, we believe that having cPanel (with the standard backup functionality intact) is something that novice users should look for to give them maximum flexibility in changing hosting providers should they ever need to. We make no secret on this website that offering cPanel is a significant factor in our rankings.
